Families should be able to understand the price of care without studying a complicated fee schedule. Most scheduled Colorado Homestead Care visits use one clear hourly rate, with a smaller option for people who only need brief, essential help.

For scheduled visits of two hours or more. Ordinary personal care, homemaker support, evenings, weekends, and designated holidays do not create extra hourly charges.

The Welcome Home Hour

New private-pay families can schedule an introductory five-hour Regular Support block for $148, the cost of four hours. The Caring Companion is paid for every hour worked; the complimentary hour is provided by Colorado Homestead Care.

What the Rate Supports

Care that respects families and Caring Companions

Our rate is designed to stay understandable for Southern Colorado families while supporting dependable wages, paid preparation, thoughtful matching, background screening, insurance, supervision, and consistent care.

We do not increase the price because an ordinary visit includes bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, memory reminders, light housekeeping, or another agreed daily-living task.

No routine evening surcharge. No weekend surcharge. No designated holiday surcharge. No separate Homestead Helper charge during a regular visit. We would rather earn trust through quality care than through unnecessary fees.

More help without another complicated price menu

Many CHC services fit inside the regular $37 care rate. When a request requires substantial research, planning, materials, or an outside licensed provider, the family receives a clear quote before work begins.

Light, non-licensed household assistance uses the regular rate. Approved materials are charged at actual cost with no markup. Licensed outside vendors bill the family directly.

Simple Terms

Clear expectations from the beginning

We explain the schedule, estimated cost, and any approved outside expense before care begins.

Regular visits

Regular In-Home Support is $37 per hour with a two-hour minimum. The rate does not change based on the ordinary care tasks included in the agreed plan.

Essential Assist

Recurring 30-minute visits are $20 and scheduled around available routes. One-hour visits are $37. Essential Assist is not an emergency or on-demand service.

Same-day support

Established clients may request non-emergency, same-day help for a $20 response fee plus the regular visit charge. Service is never guaranteed.

No routine surcharges

Evenings, weekends, designated holidays, personal care, and ordinary Homestead Helper tasks remain at the regular family rate.

Outside expenses

Client-requested mileage is billed at the current approved rate without markup. Approved materials are charged at actual cost, and licensed vendors bill separately.

Cancellations and billing

Twenty-four hours' notice is requested. Late cancellations may be billed for up to two hours so reserved staff can still be paid. Private-pay care is billed weekly.

Important scope note: Colorado Homestead Care provides non-medical in-home support. We do not provide skilled nursing, diagnosis, medication administration, wound care, injections, therapy, or other clinical services. We can coordinate everyday routines alongside a family's licensed medical providers.
